Research Interests

I am interested in quantifying the carbon budget of boreal, temperate, and tropical peatland ecosystems and exploring their micrometeorological dependencies. I use remote sensing, models, and on-the-ground measurements to better understand these systems. Peatland restoration plays a significant role in climate change mitigation strategies, which is why I also take interest in analyzing these ecosystems within the context of natural climate solutions.
